Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Our representative will be there at the Tribhuvan International Airport to receive you and take you to the hotel in Kathmandu. The same evening, you and your team members will be offered typical Nepali food in a fine restaurant. You will also be briefed about the trip, and dropped at your hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley and Preparation for Trekking (1,300m/4,264ft)
After breakfast, you will set out for sightseeing of the culturally and architecturally rich heritage sites of the Valley. Places such as the Pashupatinath, the world famous temple precinct of the Hindus, the Boudhnath and Swaymbhunath, the world famous Buddhist stupa precinct, and Kathmandu Durbar Square will open up completely a new cultural world of Nepali art and architecture to you. You will also be taken to the Kumari Ghar, where resides the Virgin Goddess. We will also discuss the trip, and you will be introduced to your fellow trekkers and our crews.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara by tourist bus (910 m/2,986ft) 6-7 hrs, 200km drive
After breakfast, around 6:30 am transfer to the Tourist bus station and drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. This scenic drive offers fascinating glimpses of rural Nepal as you pass through Middle Hill scenery along with the famous rafting Trishuli River originated from Tibet northeast of Kathmandu. Arrive Pokhara midafternoon.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1,890m/6,300ft), 30 min drive, 3-4 hrs trek
It’s a total half an hour drive to trekking starting point Phedi and the trail ascends steeply to Dhampus village for next three hours.
Day 05: Dhampus – Forest Camp (2,480m/8,135ft), 5-6 hrs trek
It’s a total of 6 hours walk today. The trek enters an enchanted forest of birch, giant rhododendron, mountain oak, maple, hemlock, and daphnia. The overnight camping here enjoys relaxation after a long tough but adventuring trail.
Day 06: Forest Camp – Low Camp (3,400m/11,300ft), 4-5 hrs trek
As we climb, the flora has turned to classic 'cloud forest' with mosses and lichen, tree ferns and orchids hosted by the hardier trees. There are windows in the woods that look out onto the thrilling panorama - close up the dramatic scenery of sacred Mt. Machhapuchhare, Mardi Himal, and Annapurna chains.
Day 07: Low Camp – High Camp (3,900m/12,850ft), 3-4 hrs trek
We have our early breakfast and start trekking to reach our highest point of the trek. If conditions are favorable we will climb up to 15,000/16,000 ft. The great ice fields and the blue glaciers of the Annapurna sanctuary walls lie below us. The view we capture today will be never forgotten. We will return to our camp in the evening.
Day 08: High Camp to Siding Village (1,750m/5740ft), 6-7 hrs trek
After breakfast, today journey starts an unhurried descent through the shade of the forest and out on to the terraced fields, down 1600 m. This is a different route down to the upper Mardi Khola. Here, as we make our way along the banks of the Mardi Khola from the hillside village of Siding, down through the lovely fields, passing the simple farms and over the interesting suspension bridges. There is no doubt that this is indeed the idyllic Nepal Countryside. Overnight at camp.
Day 09: Siding Village to Pokhara (910m/2,985ft), 3-4 hrs trek and 2 hrs drive to Pokhara
After a short walk now the trail skirts an outcrop- there's the road and transport. We will be back to Pokhara for lunch. You're free here to feel the moderate climate and scenery of this Magic land or Dream Land of Nepal. Explore the various interesting places like Mahendra Cave, David's fall and the various lakes of course.
Day 10: Pokhara-Kathmandu by Tourist Bus (6-7 hrs), 200km drive
After breakfast, transfer to Tourist bus station and 07:30 am drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Arrive Kathmandu 02:30 to 03:00 pm.
Day 11: Final Departure
Transfer to the international airport and fly to the onward destination.
